Languages have always been a passion for me.

From the moment my French teacher assigned me the French name ‘Jeannie’ when I was 11, I was hooked. At the age of 16, whilst studying for my A levels, I was offered the chance to study GCSE Spanish. It meant lessons in free periods and after school, but I grabbed that opportunity with both hands! This led to a degree in both languages and, honestly, I’ve never looked back.

Having qualified as a Secondary MFL Teacher, I soon realised that I preferred working with students in smaller groups and 1:1 as it gave me the chance to better understand their strengths and areas for development. Fast forward to 2026 and I now tutor dozens of students online, specialising in GCSE and iGCSE Spanish.

And here's what I love most: watching students go from thinking they’re no good at Spanish to knowing they’re going to walk into their exams with confidence. There is no better feeling for me than witnessing that transformation.
